Let me take you back to my early 30s. I was in the thick of life: my teaching career was in full swing, I had just become a mum for the first time, and the household chores had just suddenly doubled overnight! I felt like life was moving at 100 mph and I was in the passenger seat hanging on by a thread! I accepted that life had transitioned into a new chapter, but I couldn't accept that my appearance had to pay the price.
With my skin appearance deteriorating I was slowing losing my self confidence. So I decided to try and hide behind make-up, piling on the foundation which I hated. That hate lead to feeling horribly self conscious. Ugh! Defeated!
My current skincare routine was doing nothing! The high end products, my time, and energy was having ZERO impact on my appearance. Yes my skin felt nice, but the visual results I was hoping for were no where in sight.
